Hi finally QUIT :) vaping worked!

Chris was a heavy smoker, I quit 10 years ago on the 9th January & the fact he smoked actually nearly stopped me from dating him at the beginning, finally on the 12th January this year he had his last cig! Now don't get me wrong he has tried over the years, patches,  nicorette inhalers,  the cig shaped ecig with cartridges,  champix meds from the gp but none worked.  Until last summer he bought himself an ecig from marleys junction at the boundary shopping village in Coatbridge,  we found a winner!

Instantly he cut down on how much he smoked from 20+ a day to 10-20, he changed tanks to a kanger protank mini 2, he dropped a few more cigs.  Next was a battery  & tank upgrade for a birthday present and he was now using a vision spinner 2 with a kanger protank 3 and once again he dropped his smoking cig number to about 10 a day.  A few weeks later,  many videos on you tube & Internet scouring he decided he wanted a box mod so an innokin itaste mvp 2 was purchased,  I was impressed as at this point he dropped to under 10 cigs a day.  He then stumbled across vaporized, a store selling all things ecigs & juice and his new favourite juice store,  with flavours such as boo brew, vapist & Black Jack it was no wonder he liked their quality juices.

Of course a new tank upgrade was needed now and he bought himself an aspire nautilis mini he was in vaping heaven & down to about 3 cigs a day.  He even dropped from 18mg to 12mg of nicotine another step in the right direction.

But alas,  he wasn't complete yet,  the search was on for another box mod,  the hours of research he (and I) put into finding the perfect one was numerous,  just after Christmas he decided and ordered the vaporshark rDNA 40, with evolve chip,  better battery life and a large price tag (Thank God for Christmas money as a gift) it came & he was a happy vapor.

The itches started though once again,  with more watts in his box mod he now needed a sub ohm tank and the aspire atlantis or kanger subtank were the contenders.  The atlantis won and was purchased (the looking for other tanks did not! ) this wasn't an out & about tank,  of course!  It was for at home! (Silly me for thinking otherwise).

He was then looking into rebuilding coils,  just then kanger announced a mini & nano subtank.  The mini has an rba deck to rebuild coils on,  I crumbled and purchased it for him.  It arrived on the 9th January and was delighted at it & is his new using all the time tank.  He dropped down to 6mg nicotine at this point too from 12mg (& initially was 18mg) and 2 days later he took a draw from his last cig.  He hasn't looked back or missed it either,  he enjoys vaping,  blowing clouds (& watching reviews on juices online).

So proud of him for kicking his smoking habit,  even if it means he now has a vaping one,  at least it costs less & is healthier than cigarettes.

He still uses his vaporshark with kanger subtank mini daily,  his favourite juices are from vapist along side trying out juices by ruthless, space jam & mr cloud vapes so far and more will be tried along the way too, at least now it's all about trying new juices (not buying mods & tanks) and taking the jump into coil rebuilds soon (Which also saves money on buying new coils) listening to everything from him about vaping & reading up for him I'm as much as an expert as him these days only difference is I don't vape lol.

My girls, my life

Miss Willow James aged 10 months

Violet Hope aged 4.5 & Brogan Sián aged 11.5

A few years later ...

Title says it all really, it's been a few years now since I updated anything on here and not so much has changed since the last post almost 2 years ago!

Where to start! Well Brogan is now 11.5 years old, she finished primary school at the end of June & on August 18th embarks on the next stage in her education by starting at secondary school.  Violet is now 4.5 years old and on the same day she begins her school journey as she joins primary 1 at primary school, it's guaranteed that I will be a wreck that day watching my babies grow up & enter new challenging stages in their lives.

I  suppose I should add that 2 girls have now became 3 😁 as we welcomed the arrival of Miss Willow James in September last year, our little bundle of joy was born at home & caught by her daddy after a super quick labour at 20 days past her due date!! After keeping us waiting so long she arrived in a hurry and has completed our family.

Me and Chris are still together, we have our good times and our bad but we are trying to work through them.

I currently work for myself from home, I bake cakes and make glittery glasses, hoping to branch our into handmade teething necklaces and toys shortly too, it's hard with kiddies around but rewarding too.

Times Flies . . .

Time flies and life passes by
Take each day as a blessing
And live to the full
The world is full of yesterdays
But dwindling tomorrows
Have no regrets learn from your past
Life goes past way too fast
Live, Love, Learn and Laugh
You never know which day will be your last.

A life update :) xxx

My girls are growing more and more beautiful and smart as each day passes, I love them both so much and hopefully next year will give them a brother or a sister :)

A lot has happened in my life as the months have passed, I never managed to finish uni :( when March hit and the anniversaries of my grandad & step-brothers deaths came around they hit me really bad and my head messed up, on the plus side I am repeating the year, at least I know how hard it is and how much work is involved, I can be more prepared so I can get a better grade, I am hoping next September to do my PGDE in Secondary Teaching (Biology) I think I would make a great teacher, I might not have went down the school route when I was younger but I think that my experience in life will help a lot in being able to teach.

Me and Chris are still going strong, I love him emensly and at the sametime he can still drive me insane! The latest is on our trying for another baby, only 2 weeks ago we had decided to start trying for another so that it would be born in the summer after my 4th year exams & before I started back uni in September to do my post grad teaching degree and today what has HE now decided, yes that's it, we won't be trying for a baby UNTIL he starts a new job!!! That would be all good and well if he had even bothered looking for one but he hasn't, I have told him of many that they are avaliabe and suggested more again and he has done NOTHING about it! He doesn't want to have to "run" around looking for a better job for the next 9 months before the baby would be born, he hasn't even taken into account my plans, feelings on the matter or that thanks to my mega messed up cycle it might actually take a while to get pregnant in the first place! Apparently my feelings don't count is what I am thinking, as long as it suits him!

On another note I am going to be an aunt again, my sister is pregnant, can't say that I am totally over the moon with it but I am happy with her, although waiting a little longer may have been better in my opinion the big man upstairs has decided now is the right time! I hope it all goes well for her and can't believe that will make Violet a big cousin :) it will be too cute :)

Brogan made her communion in May, she looked amazing and both me and Chris were so proud of her that day, she is now in Primary 5 at school and doing so well, I can't yet get over how grown up she is getting and how beautiful she is.

Violet is a proper little madam, in her words "I'm the boss!" lol you can see how she thinks out house works. She is a little chatter box, can speak so clearly and has so many words its amazing and yet each day amazes me more as she grows in to a gorgeous smart little girl.

Its been more than a while

Since I last posted on here, so much and so little has changed, the girls are now 1 & 8 and are growing beautifully, words alone cannot express how much I love them both. Brogan is getting so tall & clever, she is preparing to make her first holy communion in May (and bankrupting me at the same time lol) Violet is growing into a proper little madam, she is learning to walk at the moment, will brave a few steps between furniture and people, so cute to watch those drunken first steps :)

I am still at uni, 3/4 of the way through my honors year, its not all going that well, I passed 1 module with a B1 and failed the other :( might have a chance to have another try without it being capped so fingers crossed, I was so upset when I found out but now I have decided that I just need to move on & concentrate on the next section of work & so far they are going okay :)

Still in love with Chris, even if he does manage to p**s me off most days, but he is a man so what can I say?

Today I am 26, it's my birthday, what has the love of my life & my 2 precious girls got me? NOTHING, yip that is right a big fat NOTHING, not amused with Chris at all, I would never do that to him! I will make him pay (but a few days of silent treatment first should help me along the way)

Finally my blood results show im not "normal"

I have been feeling crap for a while now & kept getting really strange symptoms so I finally managed to go and see the doctor last Tuesday, felt like I had an MOT while there, chest, heart, bp, lungs, throat, ears, eyes, felt my tummy & had me raising my legs & bending down to touch my toes the works. He also had me go for a barrage of blood test, and finally they didn't all come back "normal", I had low vitamin B12 and low folate levels, also my thyroid levels were slightly low too, so glad that something showed up as not right as was getting to the stage I was thinking people thought I was making it all up, now I am just waiting on going back to see the dr to get started on medication to fix this, hopefully what ever he gets me doing or taking helps me to feel myself again, feel so bad at times it makes me snap at Chris and the girls, its not there fault but I really cant help it!

I am still going back and forth to the haematology clinic at the hospital as well just now, had more blood tests carried out a few weeks back, the previous ones had shown deficiencies in arachidonic acid within my platelets which they need to help form clots as part of the platelet cascade, there are also involved in production of prostaglandins and a few other chemicals in the body so probably causing me other problems as well! Oh well get the new results in April so we will see then what they plan on doing to help sort that mess out!

Nothing is ever simple medically with me!

On another note I am in the middle of re-decorating Brogan's bedroom soon to be Brogan & Violet's bedroom, cant wait to get little miss out of my room & for Christmas to be over with so that I may get my room back because at this moment in time it is over-run with toys that are hiding in there for santa!!!
